We are thrilled to announce that aiXplain, the leading provider of essential infrastructure for accelerated AI development, has successfully secured $6.5 million in a pre-series A funding round. Pioneering Investment for AI Accessibility

Leading this round is Wa’ed Ventures, a $500 million Saudi Arabian venture capital fund backed by Aramco. This investment marks Wa’ed Ventures’ first direct investment in a US-based company, underscoring the global potential of our mission. We are also proud to have prominent angel investors like Osama Elkady, CEO and Co-founder of Incorta, and global business expert Kane Minkus join us in this journey.

This new funding brings our total raised capital to $16.5 million since our founding. Our previous seed round was backed by notable U.S. based firms Transform VC and Calibrate VC.

Bridging the AI Development Gap

At aiXplain, we believe that building practical AI solutions shouldn’t be reserved for big tech companies with extensive AI resources. Businesses worldwide are eager to leverage AI for various operational and decision-making purposes. However, the complexity, cost, and resources required often put AI development out of reach for many. Furthermore, there is a lack of localized tools to optimize AI capabilities for specific needs.

Our AI development platform addresses these challenges by providing an intuitive interface that transforms “agentifies” tens of thousands of AI assets into easily deployable AI agents. Users can harness the power of AI through simple language prompts instead of complex code, making AI development more accessible than ever before.

“Building practical AI solutions shouldn’t be reserved for big tech companies with extensive AI resources. There are so many AI assets available today—models, datasets, pipelines—but very little infrastructure making these assets readily accessible. aiXplan is changing that. AI has the potential to make a tangible difference for businesses around the world, and our latest financing will help us bring this vision to life.”

– Hassan Sawaf, Founder & CEO of aiXplain

An example of our commitment to democratizing AI is Bel Esprit, our agentic AI application designed for non-technical users. Currently available in open beta, Bel Esprit allows users to create sophisticated AI solutions using natural language prompts. Acting as an “agent of agents,” it combines, organizes, and executes AI assets and tasks, making complex AI accessible and usable for everyone.

Looking Ahead

This new funding will enable us to enhance our platform further, expand our global reach, and develop more localized tools and assets. We are excited about the future and remain dedicated to making AI development accessible to all businesses, regardless of their technical capabilities.

“Hassan and his team deeply understand the global disparity in AI access and the potentially damaging effects of leaving this gap unaddressed. aiXplain has already helped close the AI innovation gap in the MENA region, and we see significant potential for the company to localize its solutions in the Kingdom.”

– Fahad Alidi, Managing Director and CEO of Wa’ed Ventures
